Hi lovelies,
Thank you so much for all the love and care from my last post. It really means so much!
It’s April NAILLinkup time! You can check out all the prompts on the poster below. Remember, the dates are just a guideline. You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and the March prompts here.
The prompt this week is leaves. Perfect for autumn and the cooler weather. At least I hope the cooler weather is here to stay. Anyway, let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Lug your designer baggage (More on this later) and left that to dry completely. I then used the Fallen Leaves nail vinyls from Because I Shop and sponged on a gradient using China Glaze – Swing baby and Tip Top – Solar flare. I loved that each nail is slightly different and that the vinyls have different types of leaves too. I topcoated and that was that. I do have a swatch for you
China Glaze – Lug your designer baggage
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a brown (just like chocolate) with gold flakes of glitter. The formula was really good and application was a breeze with even distribution of the glitter too. This is an unusual combination and in my opinion a fabulous way of turning a ‘boring’ or unliked colour into something glam.
What do you think? Don’t you think the leave vinyls are gorgeous? I like the sponged combination too. Don’t forget to check out the other participants using the InLinkz thingum below
Thanks for reading,
Briget
