Hello lovelies,
Happy Monday. It has been a freezing weekend with movies and snacks and lots of nails. Did you have a good weekend?
I feel like we are getting super close to the end even though it isn’t if you look at this list of prompts.
During a conversation a few weeks before the challenge I was wondering if I should do this challenge again. One of the things I said was “how many galaxies can you really do and still look different?”. Obviously I did decided to do the challenge (and also really enjoying it) and I had a bit of an idea for this prompt. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 3 coats of piCture pOlish – Nebula (get it? Galaxy….nebula….) and waited for that to dry completely. I then used BM610 to stamp the ‘galaxy’ image. On my index and ring finger I stamped first with Mundo de Unas – Tutti and then stamped over that with Mundo de Unas – White. On my middle and pinky I did the same but I started with Mundo de Unas – Sky blue and then Mundo de Unas – White. The tutti was so pigmented that the white I stamped over almost immediately started to turn pink. I topcoated everything and then stamped white over the the two nails with tutti again. As you can see, it still started to changed colour. I am not sure if I should be impressed or not 😉 I topcoated those two again and that was that. I also have a swatch for you
piCture pOlish – Nebula
This is 3 coats with topcoat. It’s a dark blue jelly base with turquoise and pink glitter. Beautiful formula and pretty decent opacity. I could possibly have gotten away with 2 coats (and I must be honest, at 2 coats, the glitter was a bit more visible) but I thought 3 coats would be best. Here is a closer look
What do you think? Does it pass as galaxy? I am just thrilled that the base polish is called Nebula and in my mind that is a total galaxy win 😉 I am definitely looking forward to seeing the other galaxy creations and you can too by using the InLinkz goodie below.
