It’s Monday again and strangely I am ready for this week. I have tons to do and I really hope I get around to doing everything I have planned. It has been a really good weekend even though it was exhausting and full. I always imagine weekends are for relaxing but there is so much to do on a weekend that come Sunday evening I wish I had actually done some of that relaxing.
I wanted to share this handy tip I discovered a while back. I don’t recall where exactly I saw the tip but as soon as I do I will come back to link to it. Also, please excuse the photo’s, these were taken at night.
Don’t you just hate it when you have terrible tip wear on your nails. You know, after spending time painting and waiting for it to dry and within a day or two the tips of your nails are starting to show. It happens often because we use our hands so much. One way to try and prevent that is to wrap your nails BUT I saw this super handy tip that works a charm and looks cute too. So this is some tip wear on my thumb. I didn’t actually have tip wear but I made it happen so that I could show this.

A super easy and cute way to fix this without having to remove and redo your polish is to do a cute ‘cloud’ design over your tip. I chose silver but you can choose any colour you want. A complimenting colour or a contrasting colour both look great. The first step.

Cute design and your tips are covered. Isn’t it a great idea? I just want to add that my clouds look nothing like they are supposed to. I clearly need a bit more practice but if you want to see how gorgeous they really (should) look and how to do it right then have a look here and here.
You can use so many colour variations and as many colours at a time as you would like. You could even do the second ‘cloud’ in the opposite direction. So many ideas with just one design.
