Gradients (also referred to as ombre). Another technique I have never tried before and looks absolutely gorgeous. Of course I had to try it out for myself. You’re starting to see a pattern here right?
My gradients did not come out great at all. I clearly need more practice. I am sharing them anyway for two reasons. One. I actually really like how they came out even if they aren’t perfect and two, nothing is always perfect right? I am also still learning and trying and if I only ever showed you stuff that was exactly how they were supposed to be then what fun would that be? So here goes.
I used a make up wedge spongy thing to do the gradient. I think my biggest mistake was using the polish in the wrong order and not sponging it on my nail the right way. I will keep practicing and of course eventually I will be able to show better gradients here.:)
The colours I used:
- Tip Top – Fairy Dust
- Sally Hansen – Violet Voltage
- Revlon – Rock Star
I love the colour scheme. I think they work really well together. I can also clearly see how I messed these up. Still pretty though right? 😛

Love the colours, and even if it isn’t perfect, I agree that it looks great! Thank you for sharing your tryouts you have inspired me to start painting nails again. On Jess’s nails of course, my hands are not so beautiful anymore. Have a great week. xx

Thanks so much Sharon. Thank you for the compliment. I am so glad you are inspired. You should totally do your own nails too 😉
Thanks for reading and have super day and week!
