I recently got a box of goodies from Tip Top Nails to review and I want to show you 3 of the polishes that was included. It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Tip Top nail polishes. I love the shiny finish and the great coverage I get when I use Tip Top nail polish. I got 3 pink shades and it is as if they were made for me. I am the biggest pink lover ever!
The first one is Sexy Bikini. This is one of my favourite bright neon pinks. I have used it many times but most recently on my guest post I did on For the Love Of Nail Art. This is what it looks like on it’s own.
It’s a beautiful, bright pink that has the fabulous Tip Top finish. It dries semi matte because it is so bright and neon and I love love love. This is two coats with no top coat. My original bottle that I have used before is dangerously close to finished so I am super chuffed to have gotten a new one from Tip Top.
Next up is Sitting Pretty.
I love this shade of pink too. It is still bright and beautiful but little less neon. This one actually gets lots of attention when I wear it. Sitting Pretty also has the gorgeous shiny finish that I love so much about Tip Top. This is also 2 coats with no top coat.
The last one is Pot-O-Berries.
Pot-O-Berries is a much darker, almost red, pink. You can see how shiny and squishy and delicious it looks. This is two coats with no top coat and even though it is absolutely fine as is I would probably have added a third coat to avoid some slight VNL. This is beautiful. Perfect for people who don’t want to wear red but still wants something sophisticated and luxurious. It is such a deep pink that it could pass as a shade of red.
So if I line them all up what is the first thing you think of? Yes, a gradient / ombre. And it’s PINK!!! Could I be any happier right now?
Using all three these beautiful shades of pink I had to try a gradient / ombre again. It was only the second time I have tried it and the first time it wasn’t too bad. I used a base colour of Sexy Bikini and then using a makeup sponge I made a line each of Sexy Bikini, Sitting Pretty and Pot-O-Berries. Then I dabbed dabbed it onto my nails. I don’t think it is the best gradient / ombre ever but I actually really like it. What do you think?
Please excuse all the short nails again. I can’t believe I broke my nails AGAIN. You don’t even want to see the other hand. At least I know they will grow pretty fast and look better soon. 🙂
As a side note, Tip Top also sent me the Toughen Up Maxi Growth basecoat and the Toughen Up Maxi Growth topcoat.
I have only used them for the first time now with the pink and I was going to post about these a bit later but I must say I am really impressed so far. The topcoat is super shiny and leaves my nails looking like glass. It is also quite fast drying even though it isn’t specifically a quick dry topcoat. The base coat has also been really great so far. I will update more as I have used them a bit longer.
Do you like my pink gradient / ombre? I love that it is so bright and cheery. Thank you so much Tip Top for the perfect shades of polish. Look out for more reviews of products they sent me coming soon. In the mean time you can follow them on Facebook if you want. Tip Top is one of the most interactive and quickest response pages I have seen on Facebook. You can also check out their website where you can see what shades they have, which trends they have and tons more information about the brand.
Thanks for reading
