Hi lovelies,
It’s Friday! I think at this time of the year everyone lives for weekends and are counting down until the holidays. It has also been super hot lately and I am starting to miss winter already. I am such a winter baby.
On that note, I have some super bright, perfect for summer nails to show you today. When I showed you the Wet n Wild polishes last week, I knew that Saved by the Blue was screaming for something bright and summery. It is such a gorgeous blue and I really can’t get enough of it. Here’s what I did.
I started off with 2 coats of Wet n Wild – Saved by the Blue on all my nails. Once that was completely dry I taped off the tip into a V shape on my pinky and index finger. Then I added one coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make sure the yellow really popped. I then took 3 dotting tools in 3 different sizes and made the 3 dots on my ring and index finger starting with the biggest and going smaller towards the tips. I then went over the white with Sinful Colors – Melon. Melon is a super bright neon yellow but as usual the camera doesn’t love neon. It’s not a bad reflection of the neon though.
I absolutely loved wearing this and got some lovely compliments from perfect strangers as well. That’s always fun right? I also think you can do this in a variety of colours too. Perfect for summer.
What do you think of this super bright look? Do you think it is too bright or would you use a different colour? Have a super weekend folks. I know I am.
Thanks for reading!
