Hi,
This post was meant to be published on Friday but I only noticed on the weekend that it never published. I am posting it today and the real post for today will follow a bit later.
_______________
Hi lovelies,
By the time you read this I will be frantically busy packing gift backs and finalising plans for #DBNPolishParty. It’s also Friday. Friday people!? Not to mention the last Friday of November. When I speak to you again it will be December. I can’t believe it! I know I have been super scarce with posts, replying to comments and reading blogs but after this weekend I should get back to my usual pace. Until then, I have some new stamping plates to show you.
When I bought my first set of Pueen plates I had a really tough time deciding which set to get. I love the geometric images on the first set but I also love the images in the love elements set. I knew that I would buy the Love Elements set eventually and I am super glad to finally have them.
Before I show you the plates I need to mention 2 things. I do apologise that some of the photo’s aren’t very clear. I didn’t realise until I downloaded the photos off my camera and I was running super late. I promise to redo them and then I will replace these and post them on Facebook as well. The second thing, as far as shape and size is concerned, they are identical to my other Pueen set. If you haven’t checked it out go have a look.
The plates come with a little leather pouch just like the other one. I must say this one is a little bigger and definitely better quality than my first one (not that the quality on that one is bad) so it looks like they might’ve gotten some new stock.
Each plate also comes with the regular blue film covering to protect it during shipping. You can just peel this off and you’re good to go. I must say I do prefer to wipe my plates down with acetone before using them for the first time. It seems to make a bit of a difference.
Ok onto the plates. Each plate is branded with the plate number i.e. Pueen26, Pueen27 etc.
I love every single image on every single plate. Some I loooooove, some I love and some I like but I am so glad to have them all. Aren’t they just gorgeous?
I knew I had to use them straight away. This is what I came up with.
I used Kangol Speckled Egg on my ring finger. That is 2 coats. I then used 2 coats of BornPrettyStore holo polish in #3 on all my other fingers. When that was completely dry I stamped using Pueen46 and Essence – Free Hugs. I must say I absolutely love love love how this came out. It was so striking to have the pink over the holo.
I can’t wait to do a ton more stamping with these plates. I actually wish I had more than 10 fingers so that I could try out more of the images. What do you think of the plate set? Do you also think it is gorgeous? How do you like the stamping I did over the holo polish?
I hope you have a beautiful weekend!
Thanks for reading!

You should get the Essence plates. They’re R20 at Dischem (R40 for the set with 1 plate) and they work quite well.
