Catrice recently sent me a few polishes and I was absolutely thrilled. I really like the Catrice polishes. The brushes are also really nice and make application really great. Let me show you the three polishes. First up is Fuchsiarama.
Catrice – Fuchsiarama
Fuchsiarama is a corally pink shade. I have no idea why my camera struggles so much with these shades. It’s a little more pink than it appears in my photos. This is 2 beautiful coats with no topcoat. Formula is great and I love the beautiful shiny finish on Catrice polishes.
Catrice – Pimp my Shrimp
Pimp my Shrimp is nice orange shade with a hint of pink coral. Which also doesn’t show up too well on the photos. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Once again, great formula and shiny finish.
Catrice – Genius in the Bottle
Genius in the Bottle is a real beauty. It’s a metallicy polish with a green, gold and copper duochrome shine. It is a little brush strokey but only really visible on my photos in the light box. In natural light and in real life it is hardly visible. Or barely there. This is really so gorgeous. This is also 2 coats with no topcoat. I think with a topcoat it will leave a much smoother looking finish. A definite favourite for me. Just look at the beauty in the bottle.
What do you think of these? I really enjoy Catrice polishes. If you haven’t tried them out yet I can highly recommend them. They have a beautiful range of colours and are really affordable too. The current limited edition is also so gorgeous. I want them all. A whole display of nude / naturals and brights. You can find them at Dischem stores (along with all the gorgeous makeup they have on offer).

These look like they’re really nice polishes! I am partial to the names, especially the first one because I am a Futurama fan, but the second one’s good, too. 😉
Thanks Lesley, I thought the same thing about the first one. I love the play on the names of the Catrice polishes. I bought one just because it was called “captains sparrows boat” (or something like that :P)
