Hi lovelies,
Hope you had a great weekend. After all the busy of having visitors, the weekend suddenly felt extra quiet.
When I was planning the #DBNPolishParty I got in touch Ice Box Colors and they were not only amazingly kind enough to send each person a mini polish for the goodie bag but also to send me a few full size polishes. I don’t know why it took me a few weeks to play with them but when I did I fell in love. Here is a little more info about Ice Box,
ICE BOX colors was created by Dr Robert Gobac, a medical doctor with a passion for cosmetic chemistry and his wife Melba, who conceptualised the identity of the brand and called it ICE BOX colors. Dr Gobac already has an established and very successful Cosmeceutical skincare range on the market and decided it was opportune to add some colour by developing a spectacular range of Nail Lustres.
I was really impressed with these polishes. I love the wide brush as it makes application a little easier. It is something to get used to but once you do you will really appreciate it. The polishes were a dream to apply. They also lasted really well. I got a good 5 days with them with no chips or tip wear. I don’t often wear polishes for that long but I had no reason to remove it when we had a busy holiday season. It just stayed looking beautiful. I am showing you 4 colours today and will do the others at another time. Let me get to it.
Ice Box – Bubblegum Ice
Bubblegum Ice is a gorgeous pastel / baby blue. This was the first one I tried and fell in love with. It is the perfect shade of pastel blue. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Absolute pleasure to apply. This was such a great formula that I thought it was just a fluke when I used it the first time. It wasn’t. Not a streak or bald patch in sight during application. The first coat was a little lighter and sheerer but second coat just turned it into perfection.
Ice Box – Iva’s Berry Ice
Iva’s Berry Ice is a bubblegum / barbie pink creme. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Perfect formula again. Applied flawlessly in 2 coats. I am in love with this colour!
Ice Box – Mango Ice
Mango Ice a peachy orange pastel. It’s a little lighter than it appears in the photo but it is still a bright colour. Does that even make sense? It’s a gorgeous eye catching shade. This is also 2 perfect coats with no topcoat.
Ice Box – Miami Lights
a Holo!! Green holo! I was so excited when I saw this one and it didn’t disappoint one bit. The is 2 coats with no topcoat. Fantastic formula. I can tell you that topcoat does not affect the holo at all. These photo’s were taken in my light box, where I don’t always get the best photos of holo. That should give you an idea of how strong the holo is. I will absolutely, definitely, without question, be hunting down the other bolo’s. I must have them!
All in all I have fallen in love with Ice Box Colors. I am not 100% sure where these are sold or where you can get your hands on them but I know you can ask them on Facebook and Twitter for a stockist near you. Otherwise you can go to their website. You can also see their collections and contact info. I can highly recommend this brand. I have had such a great experience with all the polishes I have and I am sure the ladies from #DBNPolishParty are enjoying theirs as well. I also really love the bottles. I love that they are square and big.
A huge thank you to Ice Box Colors SA for not only sponsoring #DBNPolishParty but also for giving me these polishes to try out. I am obsessed with them. Thank you!
Do you like any of these colours? Have you tried Ice Box Colors? Would you try Ice Box Colors? I am definitely a huge fan and can’t wait to get my hands on a few more colours. I am also super excited about their photo-chromatic polishes. I must try them!
Thanks for reading!

Bubblegum Ice is my favorite from these colors. I also love wide brushes, they save a lot of time, you can literally go with one stroke.
