I hope you had a beautiful weekend. I sure did. When I walked into Clicks last week I spotted the new collection at the Sinful Colors display. It was the Glitz and Glittered collection and my heart skipped a beat. It has been a slow walk for me to really get into glitters but these have completely sealed the deal for me. These are the types of glitters I love. There are quite a few of them so I am sticking to just one photo per polish but if you would like to see more of a specific one let me know. Check it out.
Sinful Colors – Charmed
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Charmed is packed with silver micro glitter with hints of multi-coloured glitter in-between. When I saw it in the bottle and when I wore it I immediately thought it was close to China Glaze – Glistening Snow but a little less holo. It wasn’t until I looked at the photo’s up close that I saw the multi coloured glitter. Of course, now that I have seen it it is quite obvious. This glitter doesn’t even need undies. Beautiful application. It does dry slightly gritty but with a topcoat it is beautifully smooth. Have a look at it in the bottle:
This is one coat of Decadent over 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white. No topcoat. Isn’t it beautiful? Decadent is full of red micro glitter with larger hex glitter. Excellent formula and really easy application. No fishing for glitter required here. I suspect you might be able to wear it on it’s own in 3-4 coats but I think it looks amazing as a topper. Here it is in the bottle.
Ahhh be still my heart. Full Spectrum is packed with micro holo glitter and larger pinkish hex glitter. Very slight pink I might add. This is one (!!) coat over Sinful Colors – Black on black. Is it not just super gorgeous? I can imagine this over a lilac shade. Once again, great application. No fishing for glitter or clumps. Just have a look at the sparkle…..
Sinful Colors – Gilded
This one stumped me a little. I have worn it over Sinful Colors – Black on black. This is 1 coat with no topcoat. Gilded is packed with gold and red micro glitter. Like a bunch of it. Like I said this is just one coat over the black. I originally though you could wear it on it’s own without undies but it is too sheer for that, even though the glitter is quite dense . It is quite unique and beautiful but I think layered over a gold or red would probably work a little better with the colours. Here is the bottle.
Sinful Colors – Holiday Rebel
Boy do I wish I had this one a month ago. It is super Christmassy. This is one coat over Sinful Colors – Snow me white. Great application and no fishing for glitter here either. Don’t you just love it? Can you picture this in a jelly sandwich? Green, silver and red glitter ranging from micro to larger hex glitters. Absolute stunner. Here it is in the bottle.
This one caught my eye immediately. The first thing I thought of was China Glaze – Lorelei’s Tiara. I don’t have it so I can’t compare it for you but I believe it is quite similar. This is 2 coats of Ice Dream with no topcoat and no undies. It is a silvery micro glitter base with slightly larger blue glitters in as well. It is absolutely stunning! Beautiful and easy application. It doesn’t feel thick on my nails at all. It does have a slight gritty finish to it but with topcoat it is smooth. Love this, here it is in the bottle.
This was another tricky one for me. This is 1 coat of over 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black. Yes, over black. It is silver glitter in a white, metallicy base. The base looks white but it give the polish underneath a metallic look. It is really quite different. I think over a blue this would look like a winter wonderland backdrop. Easy application even though it surprised me. Here it is in the bottle.
This is one of my favourites. It is so sexy don’t you think? This is 1 very easy coat over Sinful Colors – Snow me white and no topcoat. Black micro glitter, larger black glitter and even larger red hex glitter. It is sooooo gorgeous. I didn’t have to fish for a single piece of glitter. I have so many ideas for this beauty. I love all of these but this one is just a little above the rest. I think. Either way, it’s gorgeous. Get it! Here is the bottle.
What do you think? Do any of these stand out for you? Which one is calling your name? I know one of them must be. If you want to see more of any specific polish or have any questions, feel free to let me know.
