It’s friday again! And one week from today it is valentines day! Do you already have any plans? Valentines day isn’t huge in our house. I get spoilt often throughout the whole year and we make sure to tell each other how we feel often so we don’t need a specific day to tell us to do that. It doesn’t mean it isn’t a great day for some nail art though right?
I saw this pin on pinterest and fell in love with it. I have been looking all over for the original creator of this but can’t find much information so if you know who it is please let me know so I can give full credit. I knew I had to recreate this and even though I was worried about doing a good job I couldn’t wait do it. This is what I came up with.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails. Once that was completely and absolutely dry I used striping tape to make the lines across my nails. I then used Essence – Fame Fatal for the red, Essence – Ultimate pink for the middle and Essence – Free Hugs for the light pink. I did one nail at a time and pulled off the tape as soon as I was done. I also reversed the colours on my ring and thumb. Once that was all done I used a small dotting tool and Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make the little hearts on the middle pink line. I clearly need some more practice with the hearts :/ I am actually going to try using a toothpick next time.
What do you think? Would you give this a try? I actually really liked wearing this and caught myself looking at my nails quite often during the day. I will have a few more V-Day nails for you the whole of next week. From quick and easy to stamping.

Hearts suck!…not yours, just making them in nail art! Suuure, I nailed mother freaking water marble but guess what! I want to make a heart, I get little Mickey Mouse looking stuff! Sweeeeet! Luckily I love Disney…
