Hi lovelies,
I hope you had a good weekend. We had some nice cool weather which was great! I can’t believe we are staring the end of February in the face already. Time is flying!
This technique has a few different names. So today I have either fishtail braid, braided or herringbone nail art. Take your pic 😉 This is what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Essence – Grey-t to be here on my pinky and Sinful Colors – Sugar n Spice on my index. I then used those two colours and Sinful Colors – Heartfelt to do the braid. I then popped a rectangular light pink rhinestone on my pinky and index from Born Pretty Store. This was the first time I have ever done this and even though it is nowhere near good I really like it and I will definitely be trying it again. Now that I actually know how it works. I might even get the lines straight and even next time.
Have you tried this before? What do you think of the colour combination? I really like the grey and pinks together. I should use that colour combo more often.
Thanks for reading,
Siobhan
The only thing not working for me is the studs. I don’t know why, I just can’t feel that ?????? :-/
But I love the fish braid and I love the colours you used
Siobhan
Not that the studs make the mani ugly, just doesn’t work for ME

Gorgeous colours. Love it! No matter how hard I try, I can’t wrap my head around the fishbraid method thing. I think I have to sit down and do it one day.
