Hi lovelies,
This is another comparison requested by acidicice after reading this post. I was quite interested in seeing the results of this one as Rise & shine is one of my favourite polishes. And interesting results is what I got. Rise & shine is a matte and Roller coaster is not. I was going to topcoat both to make them both shiny but when I saw them together I realised it wouldn’t be necessary. Let me show you.
As you can see, they are different in colour. Both of them have the similar shimmer, but Roller coaster is definitely more green. I used 2 coats here and no topcoat for both. Formula wise, they are both great and easy to work with and also quite opaque. If anything, Rise & shine is a little streakier on the first coat but evens out really well on the second. That being said, it has never been a problem for me.
For the record, I did add topcoat to see if it changed the results at all and it did not. It just made Rise & shine shiny instead of matte but the colour didn’t ‘darken’ at all. So, if you like these type of colours I can definitely say you can use both.
What do you think of them? Do you have one of them? Or both? Is it a colour you would wear?
This is the last requested comparison I have 🙁 I really enjoy them so if you have something you would like me to compare please shout. I do have one or two comparison that I chose lined up but I really like doing comparison that were requested. 🙂
Thanks for reading,

I love the rise and shine colour, I have it, but it stains so badly, even with a base!

I love rise and shine too. I have had no staining with it though. Quite surprised. Just goes to show we our bodies react differently to all kinds of products 🙂
