I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was lovely but this coming weekend I have something super exciting coming up and I just can not wait anymore.
For the longest time, acidicice and I have been talking about doing a collaboration of sorts. She didn’t really want to do a ‘twin post’ (using the same colours, designs, technique etc) so we decided to choose them for each other. You can see what I chose for her and what guidelines I gave her by checking her post.
The guidelines she gave me? Neon green, neon yellow, silver filigree, gradient, rhinestones. Sounds simple right? Uhm….not so much. I really wasn’t sure how or where but once I got everything out I kinda just went with it. Here is what I ended up with.
I started off with 2 coats of Tip Top – As the beat grows on on my pinky and thumb and 2 coats of Tip Top – Walking on sunshine on my index. I then painted 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my ring and middle. Once the white was completely dry I sponged the gradient using Tip Top – As the beat grows on and Tip Top – Walking on sunshine. I once again left that all to dry. Once dry, I stamped the ‘filigree’ pattern using Tip Top – Armour plate and MoYou fairytale plate 3. I topcoated and added the rhinestones before the topcoat dried. Done.
The silver stamping doesn’t look as opaque or shiny in the photo as it did in real life. I really need to try using other silver to stamp with as well. 😉
What do you think? Did I meet the requirements? I wasn’t very sure about this at first but I actually kinda like it. It was super bright and blingy at the same time. I actually really had fun with this. Lets do more?!

I love it! Pre-nail polish obsession, I wasn’t that into neons, but now I’m crazy about them. So bright and awesome!

I’ve really been into bright/neon colors now that the weather is warming up. Normally I don’t care about that kind of thing, but I guess I’m into following the “trend” this year, haha.
