It’s finally weekend! Phew! Actually, I didn’t have a bad or long week at all. I am just looking forward to weekends. Spending time with my husband and doing nothing. This weekend is also the Bloggers who bless get together and I am really excited to see the girls!
It’s no secret that I really like black lately, especially matte black. So this should probably be expected but I love it so much. Let me show you and then I’ll tell you more about it.
I started with 2 coats of the Revlon chalkboard matte black on my pinky, ring and middle fingers and 2 coats of China Glaze – Harmony on my index and thumb. When that was completely dry I stamped over the black using Pueen04 and China Glaze – Harmony. I then stamped over Harmony with the Revlon matte black. I didn’t topcoat because I wanted to keep the matte matte and the shiny metallic shiny.
I had 2 issues with this. You can probably tell that the stamping on the ring finger isn’t straight. I redid that 3 times. 3!! By that time I had had enough it was going to stay just the way it was 😛 I also wasn’t sure if the Revlon matte black would stamp well so well when I tried I just happy to get anything. Afterwards I realised it could’ve been a little more opaque and that I should probably have stuck with my usual black stampy polish. I still like it though so lesson learnt.

Ooohhh! I usually don’t like matte, but I like how this is ULTRA matte and also metallic! I would definitely wear it! 😉
No big plans for this weekend. Usually I like to have something social lined up, but just been feeling kinda blah, so I’m OK with hanging out around the house and planning something more fun for next weekend. I need to clean, anyway, lol.
