31DC2014 Day 07: B&W nails

Hi lovelies,

Happy Sunday!  I feel like I should still be sleeping 😛

Last year when I did the M.T.V challenge and the prompt was B&W and glitter I desperately wanted black & white glitter. Of course I got spoilt with some and I was so sure I was going to use it for this prompt, except I didn’t.  Black holo was calling my name and I knew I wanted to use that instead.  Let me show you.

I started with 2 coats of Color Club – Beyond on all my nails except my ring finger.  On my ring finger I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white.  Once that was completely dry I stamped with Pueen16 and Essence stampy polish in white over the black and stamped with Color Club – Beyond over the white.  Topcoat and done.

You can see some of the holo in the photo but it it’s a little dulled by the topcoat and lightbox.  I loved the contrast between between the holo and the stamping.  What do you think of the combination?
