A good few weeks ago I showed you a whole bunch of new Tip Top collections. There were quite a few requests for comparisons and I am sorry it has taken so long to get to them. One of the more popular requests were some combination of the light purples / lilac shades. So I thought I would combine 4 into one post.
As I am sure you can tell, none of them are dupes. Let me start at one end. On my index is Tip Top – Fairy dust. It’s a very light lilac cream with a great formula and great opacity. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is quite light compared to the others and actually looks almost white next to Broken Soul. On my middle nail is 2 coats of Tip Top – Broken soul. It is a lilac cream, darker than Fairy dust but still fairly light. It had a good formula but was a little more sheer than the rest. On my ring I have 2 coats of Tip Top – Surfer girl. It is one of my favourites because it has that gorgeous shimmer. It is once again darker than Broken soul with great formula and opacity. On my pinky I have 2 coats of Tip Top – Lady lilla. It seems to be a bit out here because it is a much more blue toned, almost lavender creme. The formula was great and had the best opacity of them all. It’s almost a one coater.
It’s pretty obvious they are not dupes, but do you need them all? I say yes. They are all different enough to warrant having them all. In fact they are not even close. So run out and get them now before Tip Top is gone for good *sob*
