Comparison: Sinful Colors – I love you vs Essence – Best dressed

I hope you had a lovely weekend!  It was such beautiful (hot) weather here all weekend.  Here’s hoping we all have a great week too!

I have another comparison today that was asked for ages ago.  When I showed you the Essence swatches I mentioned that Best dressed reminds me of Sinful Colors – I love you.  Now I can finally show you how they compare.

On my pinky and index I have 2 coats of Essence – Best dressed and on my ring and middle I have 3 coats of Sinful Colors – I love you.  As you can tell, they are not the same.  I love you is a more blue toned purple where Best dressed is more red toned / plum coloured.  They are both packed with shimmery glittery goodness but the bases are definitely different.  Formula and opacity wise:  Both have a good formula but Best dressed is definitely more opaque.  It only needed 2 coats whereas I love you needed 3.

I am not sure I have a preference colour wise.  I think they are definitely different enough to own both.  Best dressed does win for me slightly because it only needed 2 coats.  What do you think?  Do you have either of these?  Both of these?  Which one do you prefer?

I am doing a talk / show & tell / Q&A / Demo at a local school today and even though I am nervous as heck and I am also really excited.  Here’s hoping it goes ok. :/
