Hi lovelies,
Double post day!
I have another comparison for you today that was requested quite a while ago. I actually had it done quite a while ago but the schedule kept pushing it further and further away. No more! 😉
This comparison is between 3 pastel pinks. Gorgeous pinks I might add. Let me show you
On my pinky and index I have 2 coats of Essence – Free hugs. It’s pretty obvious that Free hugs is darker than the other 2. It is one of my favourite and first Essence polishes. On my ring finger I have 2 coats of Tip Top – Melting marshmallow and on my middle finger I have 2 coats of Nubar – Oh baby pink. These two were very close. You can see here that Oh baby pink is slightly more blue toned than Melting marshmallow. In different light these two look almost identical. This is good news for all those who were looking for an alternative to Melting marshmallow now that Tip Top has announced the end of Tip Top (although I have since not heard another peep about it or future plans). If you can’t find Melting marshmallow around anymore then Oh baby pink is a great option.
As far as formula goes. All three of these only needed 2 coats. Good formula on all of them but I think Oh baby pink wins by a hair. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them and even though 2 are very similar I still think you can easily own them all.
What do you think? Do you own any of these? Do you have a favourite pastel pink polish? Do you have any other polishes you would like to see a comparison on?
Thanks for reading,
Siobhan
I’m in love with Oh Baby Pink! It is so pretty
