Hi lovelies,
Woohoo it’s almost weekend. We could definitely do with some rest and relaxing this weekend. The Hubband is having surgery tomorrow so hopefully we will do nothing but recuperate when he comes out of hospital.
I can’t believe it is the end of week 3 already! Just 2 more weeks left of the #PPSANailChallenge and I think I am going to miss it. Here are the rest of the prompts so you know what to look out for.
Today’s prompt is purple and Juanita and I decided to use this prompt for our twinsie post for this month as well. We chose to do purple gradients. I LOVE doing gradient but thought this one needed something a little more. So this is what I came up with.
I decided to do a reciprocal gradient. I have done a vertical one before but I thought I would do a horizontal one today. I did a gradient using Sinful Colors – Snow me white, China Glaze – Tart-y for the party and OPI – Do you have this color in Stockholm. I then added my striping tape once it was dry and did the gradient again using the same colours in reverse. Added some topcoat and that was that. It seems a little too easy and simple so I am willing to bet Juanita is going to kick bum with this! Go check hers out as well.
What do you think of my purple gradient? I really love reciprocal gradient and I am excited to try some different combinations. Have you done a reciprocal gradient? Don’t forget to check out the other ladies using the InLinkz goodie below.
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
Love it. I tried it before and totally sucked. So good on you.

Ah thanks you so much Kerry!! You definitely have to. I love gradients and this is one of my favourite ways to play with gradients.

You did an awesome job! Once I’ve gotten a bit better at gradients I really have to try this too 🙂
