Another catchup post due to technical problems.
You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
It’s violet nails time and once again I struggled with the fact that it was so open and I have so many options. So let me show you what I settled on.
On my index and pinky I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – What a pansy (Thanks bok). On my ring and middle I started with 2 coats of Essence – Little lila town. While that was drying I went to work making decals. I stamped using BM607 and MoYou stamping polish in black. I love this image so much and I am so glad I finally got to use it. I then filled in the different pieces using China Glaze – What a pansy, China Glaze – Violet-vibes, Essie – Sitting pretty and Color Club – Eternal beauty. I left one piece open on each for the base of Essence – Little lila town to peek through. I then applied the decals, topcoated everything and that was that. Unfortunately the decals shrunk a bit at the tips and it looked a bit weird but alas. :/
