Yay it’s Friday! I could definitely do with a weekend and a weekend filled with get togethers is even better. Do you have any plans for the weekend?
You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
Half moons……. What can I say about half moons? Well, I don’t think there is much room to play with this prompt. I mean a half moon is a half moon is a half moon right? Well let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Essie – DJ play that song and left that to dry completely. I then used ring binder stickers to tape off the half moons. Because the base colour was quite dark I had to then sponge on some white before doing a sponged gradient using Essie – Sittin’ pretty and Essie – DJ play that song. I used DJ play that song on the tip of my nails to be further away from the half moons. I then removed the tape and topcoated. These polishes didn’t gradient super well but I think it looked ok enough to pass.
