31DC2015 Day 20: Water marble

Hi lovelies

Have you had a good weekend so far? I hope you enjoy your last day of the weekend and start your week off refreshed.

You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015.  I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉   Here are the prompts for this year.

It’s official.  Water marble hates me.  Sometimes it works like a dream and other times it just likes to plays with my emotions.  This was one of those latter times.  Let me show you

I started with a base of one coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely.  I then taped up my nails and went to work with the marbling.  I used China Glaze – Daisy know my name? and China Glaze – Violet-vibes.  This was not the first combination I tried and even though it wasn’t the best it was the best out of all the ones I tried.  After about 5 hours of this I just gave up and left it as is.  I topcoated and that was that.  I call this one a big fail.

I am not even going to ask what you think.  I do like the combination of the yellow and purple.  If only it worked out better.
