I can smell the weekend already!
It’s time for twinsie nails with Juanita again. We skipped September because of the #31DC2015 challenge but now we are back! The theme is halloween, for obvious reasons. I have never really done halloween nails because it isn’t so big here in SA. So as luck would have it I had to do 2 halloween nail designs this week. Eek!! Alrighty, let me show you what I came up with.
As you can tell, there is quite a bit going on here. Let’s start at the pinky. I started with 2 coats of Wow #393 and left that to dry. I then stamped using BMH08 and Mundo de Unas – Neon yellow. On my ring finger I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white. Once that was dry I did a gradient using China Glaze – Treble maker and China Glaze – PLUR-ple. Once that was dry I stamped using BMH07 and MoYou stamping polish in black. The base for my middle and index fingers are the same. I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Recycle. Once it was dry I tore off a piece of sponge and using Sinful Colors – Beau Khaki I sponged on random bits. I wanted to create a bit of zombie / dead flesh look. On my index I stamped using BMH06 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. I then used black and a big dotting tool to make the black spot in the middle of the eye. On my index I stamped using BMH08 and MoYou stamping polish in Black. I then topcaoted everything and that was that.

What do you think about Halloween? Do you celebrate it where you live? What5 is your favourite part about halloween? I don’t hate Halloween at all, it’s just not something we celebrate. It’s not big in our community either even though I know some other provinces are really starting to grow the Halloween scene.
