Happy Monday! I hope you had a stunning weekend! I am so sorry for not posting on Friday. I am not sure what happened and naughty me for not checking. I know I know, you all missed me terribly 😛
When I showed you Sinful Colors – Supernova a while back I mentioned that it reminded me of China Glaze – Swing baby. So I thought I would do a comparison and see just how similar – or not – they really are. Let’s check it out.
On my pinky and index fingers I have 2 coats of China Glaze – Swing baby and on my middle and ring I have 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Supernova. I wasn’t too far off when I suspected they were similar. Supernova is slightly more pink / rose gold tones and Swing baby is definitely more gold / champagne toned. Formula wise they are both amazing. On one coat Supernova is a smidge more opaque but it’s irrelevant at 2 coats because they both have excellent coverage. Both of these are absolutely stunning and perhaps for some you don’t need both but I definitely think having both doesn’t hurt. They are close but different enough.
What do you think? Do you have a preference? Do you have either one of them? Which one would you pick? Or like me, would you get both?
