Hi lovelies,
Happy Friday! I am really happy it is weekend. Do you have fun weekend plans? I will be doing parkrun after being sick for weeks. Wish me luck!
Months ago I used Morgan Taylor – Don’t worry, be brilliant and I suspected it was close to China Glaze – Flip flop fantasy. Flip flop fantasy is one of my favourite polishes so finding something similar would’ve been a huge bonus. So… a comparison.
On my index and pinky I have 2 coats of China Glaze – Flip flop fantasy. On my middle and ring fingers I have 3 coats of Morgan Taylor – Don’t worry, be brilliant. First of all, these are eye searingly bright. So bright that it’s near impossible to capture how bright. It’s also clear that they are not dupes BUT it is the closest to Flip flop fantasy that I have gotten yet. They are really close thought. Flip flop fantasy is a bit more orange toned. Let’s talk formula. Flip flop fantasy is more opaque but Don’t worry, be brilliant is a smoother application. Flip flop fantasy tends to dry so fast that it can be streaky whereas Don’t worry be brilliant applies beautifully. It just needs 3 coats.
I know that finding the original Flip flop fantasy isn’t easy and if you are struggling to find it then Don’t worry, be brilliant is an excellent alternative. Even if you have the original Flip flop fantasy, having Don’t worry, be brilliant in your collection can’t do harm.
Do you have either of these? Which one do you prefer or are they similar enough?
