NAILLINKUP: Fire & Ice

Hi lovelies,

Woohoo, it’s half way to the weekend and this week hasn’t been half bad.  How is your week going?

What a fun prompt right?  There are so many ways to interpret it but the literal one is so much fun for me.  So let me show you what I did.

 

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  Once it was dry I did a sponged gradient on my pinky, middle and index using Sinful Colors – Sugar rush, Sinful Colors – Sail la vie and Sinful Colors – Endless blue.  While that was drying a bit I used Because I shop Flame on vinyl on my ring finger.  I then did a sponged gradient using Essence – Little miss sunrise, Essence – Flashy pumpkin and Essence – Fame fatal.  Making sure to remove the vinyl as soon as possible after finishing with the sponging.  I then left that to dry a bit and then went back to the blues.  I added one coat of Morgan Taylor – If the slipper fits over the gradient.  It did hide the gradient a bit but not enough that you couldn’t see it at all.  To give it a bit more of an icy look I placed a few pieces of glitter for Tip Top – Rocky road glitter. I then topcoated and that was that.

I am all about the cold so that is why there is more ice than fire but I kinda like the combination.  What do you think?  Don’t forget to check out the other participants using the InLinkz thingum below
