NAILLinkup: Wicked web

Hello lovelies,

How are you doing?  Have you had a good week?  Mine has been fairly average.  I can’t believe it is Wednesday already though. The weeks are really flying now that we are half way through the year.  Slow down 2016, please!  Fortunately there is still lis of 2016 left to enjoy.

This week the prompt is wicked web.  I had a ton of completely different ideas for this prompt and eventually sat with no idea which way to go.  I ended up with something I really liked….until I wasn’t sure anymore. Let me show you

I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  Once it was dry I did a sponged gradient using China Glaze – Recycle and China Glaze – Seeing red.  I did the gradient with the grey starting in different places on the nail.  I then left that to dry completely again.  Then I stamped using BM-H07 and Mundo de Unas black. I also made the smallest part of the web start in the grey section.  I topcoated and that was that.   The image I stamped is a spider web (I left the spider off) but after looking at the photos it looks more like shattered glass :/. What do you think?

What would you have done for this prompt? This was such a fun prompt with a really wide interpretation so it was really fun deciding what to do.  Don’t forget to check out the other wicked web creations using the InLinkz goodie below
