31DC2016 Day 06: Violet nails

Hello lovelies,

Now that we’ve gotten over the blue Monday bump how is the week treating you so far?

I am seeing so much amazing nail art in this challenge it is so inspiring.  You can use the #31DC2016 to follow the prompts on social media.  Here are the prompts.

Righty-o, let’s get cracking with violet nails

I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and waited for that to dry completely.  I then did a sponged gradient using China Glaze – Tart-y for the party, China Glaze – PLUR-ple and OPI – Vant to bite my neck?. I then added 1 coat of INM northern lights (silver)  to some sparkle.  Once that was completely dry I used zig-zag vinyls on my middle and ring finger.  I then sponged on Nubar – Silver glitter making sure to remove the vinyls immediately.  I then topcaoted everything and that was that.

What do you think?  I really like the colours in the gradient and I think the silver goes well with it. You can see all the other violet nail art using the InLinkz thingum below.
