31DC2016 Day 05: Blue nails

Hello lovelies,

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a great weekend. I sure did.  B and I had a birthday shindig on Friday night thanks to Lee and the girls.  It was beautiful and perfect and fun and so us.  Thanks so much Lee.  You guys are the best! Now that is how you celebrate a birthday! Of course that means I haven’t really been around much but I promise to catch up on posts and comments SOON.

Now let me show you what I did for Blue nails.

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my middle and ring fingers and 2 coats of China Gaze – Star hopping on my pinky and index. Once they were all dry I used China Glaze – Can you sea me? to make a glitter gradient of sorts on my middle and ring finger.  I topcoated and that was that. I didn’t really like this very much.  It is clear I am not really good and making glitter gradients but I do love the polishes.  I also have a swatch for you.

China Glaze – Star hopping

This is 2 coats with topcoat.  It’s a dark blue jelly packed with tons of blue glitter in different sizes with a few green and silver holographic glitter too.  Fantastic formula and the opacity is great.   Here is a closer look.
