Hello lovelies,
You guys….day 20! Tomorrow the inspired by section starts. I am nervous and excited. Possibly more nervous than excited.
Here is the list of prompt so you can see what you have to look forward to in the next section. A lot of it is in the interpretation and that is what makes me nervous.
Water marble can either be absolutely gorgeous or a beautiful mess. It either works or it doesn’t. I won’t say how many colour combinations and polishes I tried for this (I had a vision in mind) but I will show you how it turned out.
I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely. I then grabbed my little cup with water and started with the water marble. I used China Glaze – I got a blue attitude, China Glaze – Lime after lime and China Glaze – Dj blue my mind. I topcoated and that was that.
You know why I struggle with water marble? It’s not the actual marbling that is a struggle for me (even though it doesn’t always go perfectly) but it’s the pattern. I see people do patterns in water that seem totally random and similar to what I do but then it comes out in perfect patterns on their nails. I have no idea how to do that. My dream is to grow up and draw perfect beautiful patterns in my water marble. Teach me your ways! I am sure there are going to be breathtaking marbles so check out the InLinkz thingamabob below.
