Hello lovelies,
Happy Monday. Did you have a good weekend? I am literally counting the hours now for when my cousin and her family arrive. I am so excited!
Which also brings me to todays post. Remember when I told you they were having another baby? Well now I can tell you it is a girl!! I am super excited. I would’ve been excited even if it was another boy but having one of each makes it very special I think. I can’t wait to introduce you to little Lia in February.
So anyway, Today I have a bit of a gender reveal nail art thing happening. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Essence – #lucky on all my nails and left that to dry completely. On my index I stamped using BM-H21 and Mudo de unas – white. On my middle and ring I used tape to mark off the cuticle ‘triangle’ and then painted a coat of Essence – Wild white ways on top, making sure to remove the tape immediately. Once it was completely dry I marked off the same section with tape and then stamped over the white using Pueen08 and Mundo de unas – Black. While that was drying I made decals on my manicure mat using Pueen109 and Mundo de unas – Light gold. I then cut them in the zipper shape and added it on the edge where the pink and white meet. On my pinky I used a nail art brush and Essence – Wild white ways to write her name – Lia – over the pink. I topcoated everything and that was that. I do have swatches
Essence – #lucky
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Beautiful formula and fantastic opacity. This is almost a one coater, is a beautiful shade of pink and has a beautiful shiny finish. Essence definitely doesn’t disappoint here.
It isn’t perfect but it’s pink and it is a bit of a ‘reveal’ inspired by this. I also has her name which is the most important part. I am ridiculously excited about this baby. Having another little body to love and snuggle is the best.
