Hello lovelies,
I hope you had a good weekend? I feel like I need another weekend to recover from my weekend. All the girls got to spend one last night with Candice on Friday night. It was possibly our last hang out with just us before she leaves. My heart hurts just thinking about it but we had the best time! Hopefully we can squeeze in at least one more before she leaves.
So while I recover from the weekend I have some quick, easy and simple nail art to show you.
I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely. I then did a radial gradient using a sponge and China Glaze – Glow with the flow in the middle and China Glaze – PLUR-ple on the outside. I can see some mistakes here but I will tell you about those in a bit. I then left the gradient to dry before I stamped the swirl using BPL-027 and Mundo de Unas – Blue. I topcoated that and once it was 100% dry I added a matte topcoat. Once I added the matte topcoat the gradient seemed to be very bad. It was quite patchy on the purple areas that I couldn’t see while it was shiny but became more obvious once it was matte and even more so on the photos. I wish I had done it properly but I still like how it came out. I also really liked it matte even if it made the gradient worse 😉
What do you think? I think the colours look quite good together and I loooooove the swirly image on the plate. I actually just want to use this image over and over and over. I might actually just use this a few more times soon 😀 Do you have any colour or finish recommendations? What would you like to see with this image next?
Thanks for reading,
Thea Madness!
