Hello lovelies,
Thank goodness it’s Friday! It hasn’t been a bad week, just a long week. How has your week been?
So if you’ve been around for a while you might know about the Twinsie nails that I have done in the past with Juanita. Last year Joyce joined us and now we actually have a proper name for these posts as well. So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month Juanita chose this post by Madness Nails as our inspiration. It’s pretty tough to compete with amazingness so after redoing it twice I decided to go more with inspired by than recreate. Let me show you what I did
I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then took little pieces of sponge to sponge the colours in random spots on my nails. I used China Glaze – Lime after lime (green), China Glaze – Glow with the flow (pink), China Glaze – Lemon fizz (yellow), Morgan Taylor – Invitation only (purple) and Sinful Colors – Sweet nothing (teal). I did 2 coats of each colour on each nail and then left that to dry a bit again. I then used 3 different sized dotting tools and Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make random polka dots on all my nails. Topcoated and that was that.
In hindsight I wish I had added that extra shiny glittery topcoat but I do like how it came out. I don’t think it looks much like the amazingness of the inspiration but it’s bright and fun. What do you think? Don’t forget to check out Juanita and Joyce to see how they interpreted the inspiration as well.
Thanks for reading,
Juanita

Your nails look awesome!
Hehe, I’m glad I’m not the only one that went with ‘inspired by’ although yours could fall in the ‘recreate’ category just as well 🙂
