Hello lovelies,
Happy February! I wish time would just slow down a little bit! Have you had a good week?
It’s already week 5 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. It is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
The prompt for this week is black and I again had quite a few ideas. At the end of the day I settled on one that I might’ve done before but I like the concept so much that I really wanted to do it again. So let me show you
This was really simple, easy and quick. I started with 2 coats of Nubar – Noir and left that to dry completely. I then used the Essence satin matte topcoat and let that dry completely as well. I then stamped using BM-S312 and Seche vite. That was that.
I have before stamped with matte topcoat and this time switched it up and stamped with regular topcoat. I really like how it came out. It kinda makes me think of embossed wallpaper or fabric or something. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Renita
*drools* I cannot tell you how much I love this!! I’ve always wanted to do a matte/glossy stamping mani. This just makes me push it higher up on my to-do list. Hopefully mine is at least 5% as gorgeous as yours!

You are such a flatterer! 😉 Thank you so much and I can’t WAIT to see what you do.
