Hello lovelies,
Happy international women’s day! I hope you’re having a spectacular week so far!
You know when you have a polish that you just have to use but you have no idea what you want to do with it? That happens to me all the time and I end up with the polish in front of me and hope something happens. Sometimes all that comes to mind is a skittlette but the polish is beautiful enough to still be worth it. Let me show you the beautiful polish first.
Smudge – Sweet cerise
This is 2 coats without topcoat. This is a beautiful bright pink with a blue / violet shimmer. It has a beautiful formula and when I wear it it feels like my nails are alive. Every catch of light gives it another look and different flash of colour. This reminds me of Color Club – Ultra Violet and I might do a comparison soon. Let me know if you want to see that. These photos are a little deceiving with the depth so let me give you a closer look.
I kinda knew I wanted to pair it with black so let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Nubar – Noir on my middle finger and 2 coats of Smudge – Sweet cerise on the rest of my nails and left that to dry completely. On my ring finger I used striping tape on my whole nail and then added a coat of Nubar – Noir, making sure to remove the tape immediately. On my index and pinky I stamped using BP-L020 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? Isn’t this polish just gorgeous? I know I might be biased because it is pink but even if you’re not a pink lover it’s gorgeous right? I also like the contrast with the black even though it maybe wasn’t the most original idea. Let me know if you want to see this compared with anything else or even just any comparisons.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
