Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! Today is a beautiful day because it is actually cooler. Yesterday was beautiful. It’s like heaven I tell you. I love the cooler weather and I can’t wait for more of it. I have probably jinxed it now and I will be back to sweating soon 😛 How has your week been?
I saw someone use silver and black glitter somewhere (I can’t even remember where, it just stuck) and I really wanted to combine the two as well. What better way than pairing it with pink right? I did some dream catcher with glitter nail art. Let me show you
I started with 2 coats of Essence – Free hugs on my ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Let’s chalk about it on the rest. On my ring finger I made a decal using BM605 and Moyou stamping polish in black. I then filled in the middle of the dream catcher with a silver striper and China Glaze – Silver of sorts silver glitter. I then used the silver striper to make silver ‘smudges’ behind the feathers. I applied the decal using topcoat and then topcoated again. On the rest of my nails I added 1 coat of Ulta3 – Outasight and then China Glaze – Silver of sorts over that. I wanted both the black and the silver glitter to show. I then topcaoted and added a little square pastel pink stud before the topcoat dried completely.
What do you think? I quite like how it turned out, especially the black glitter with the silver glitter. The Free Hugs pink is also such a beautiful shade. This one is still from the old Essence Colour & go range. There is also a Free Hugs in the The Gel range but it is a completely different colour. I will do a “old vs new” post about it soon. Have a fabulous weekend and I will see you on the other side.
