52 week nail art challenge – Week 11: Brown

Hello lovelies,

Did you have a good weekend?  Mine was very relaxing even though I got around to doing quite a bit of stuff.  I am most excited about the cooler weather of course.  I also had to move the polish room around because soon I will have to put more polish racks up.  I don’t have much wall space left so I had to move stuff to open up the only wall space available.  I better not need any more 😛  What did you get up to?

It’s week 11 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except  this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week.  Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.

The prompt this week is Brown.  I knew I wanted to use a specific polish so I focused more on the polish than the art.  Let me show you anyway.

I started with 2 coats of Starrily – Shrodingers Cat on all my nails.  This is a beautiful brown holo.  I then stamped on my ring and middle using BM-S318 and China Glaze – Passion.  On my pinky and index I use gold diamond shape studs from Born Pretty Store.  I topcaoted everything and that was that.

I don’t think any of my photos do this polish justice but it is brown and it is holo.  Let me show you more of the polish

Starrily – Shrodinger’s Cat

This is 2 coats with topcoat.  It’s a beautiful brown holo with a stunning formula.  It’s also very opaque.  I am really quite taken with the name of this polish as well.  This is a really special and different brown polish that’s for sure.
