Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! Even though my week has been shorter than normal it feels like it has been the longest week 😉 Not bad just long. The weather has also pulled a fast one on me. According to all reports today was going to be cool and probably raining. I woke up to blazing sun. I am heartbroken. I would do anything for cooler weather. But it’s Friday!
I have another Dollish Polish collection to show you. This was the christmas collection and thanks to our wonderful SAPO I only got it months after. So this collection is not in her store anymore but I am still showing you because Dollish Polish also has a Clearance bin store where she lists all discontinued and retired shades (at great prices). There is a chance that you might find some of these polishes there in time. Again, please don’t be mad for showing you polishes that you might not be able to get right now but if you fall in love with any keep an eye out on the Clearance Bin store. Ok? Let’s go!
Dollish Polish – B*tch hit me with a toaster
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a dusty rose with a duochrome shift. The shift is described as magenta to green but I get a lot of gold. The base colour is one of those classic antique pink / rose shades that is always around but with the duochrome shimmer it really elevates it to something quite unique and pretty. The formula was great and I had full coverage in 2 coats although I think a 3’rd wouldn’t have been wasted. It applied beautifully and the name is just perfection! Let me give you a closer look.
Dollish Polish – Scrape ’em off Claire
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a peach-toned nude with red shimmer, loaded with silver holo glitters, peach iridescent glitters, and red/pink/gold chameleon glitters. I love the beautiful classic nude that is vamped up with the glitters. This is a nice option for corporate wear as it is delicate and nude but one you get outside and the light catches that glitter…. The formula was excellent and it applied beautifully. Let me give you a closer look,
Dollish Polish – Niagara Falls, Fankie Angel
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a soft cornflower blue with tons of holo flakies and micro glitters in shades of cobalt blue, aqua, magenta, violet, and amethyst. This has a beautiful formula and just the most beautiful colours. I really loved this one and I can already imagine so many combinations for nail art. Let me give you a closer look
Dollish Polish – Jimmy, don’t let ’em burn me!
This is 3 coats with topcoat. It is described as a silver glitter holo, jam-packed with holo flakies, silver holo glitter, and accented with silver mini stars and micro glitters in shades of cobalt, magenta, evergreen, and apricot. Basically, this is a glitter bomb! I was almost blinded by the sparkle of this polish and yet I couldn’t stop staring. When I first applied it and saw the stars, my first reaction was ‘well that’s a waste’. I could barely see the stars between the other glitter and didn’t think they would really be visible. Boy was I wrong. You can see above that the stars quite obviously stand out on their own but in the right light, those stars flash holo and will take your breath away. You can see that on my pinky but I’ll give you a closer look in a sec. This polish really applied well considering it’s a glitter bomb. The star glitters you can see here were not fished for at all. So you will get some decent star coverage just with normal application and you will only really have to fish if you want more than that. This is one of my favourites! Ok, let me give you a closer look at the holo star and the polish.
Dollish Polish – God bless us, everyone.
This is 3 coats with topcoat. It is described as a fern green crelly loaded with both gold holo and evergreen holo glitters. I definitely see some turquoise glitter in there as well and some micro glitter. I loooooooove this polish. Again, I am not a green lover but this one. Goodness it’s stunning. The formula was pretty stunning too. The jelly builds up beautifully in 2 coats and in 3 coats just has a little more depth. It applies beautifully and is just perfection. Let me give you a closer look.
I just loved this collection. I love the polishes and I love the inspiration and I think the names are just the best. Even though I have definite favourites I think the whole collection is beautiful. What do you think? Which is your favourite? Have a fabulous weekend guys and I will see you on the other side!
