How has your week been so far? I don’t know why but my week is crawling. It feels like it should be Friday by now. It’s such a drag. My car is going in for a service tomorrow and I am sure that is going to feel like an eternity too 😛
You know when you get a polish and you just HAVE to use it? I picked up this polish in a discount bin and I fell in love instantly. Let me show you the polish and then some nail art I did with it.
Wet n wild – Night prowl
This is 3 coats with topcoat. The polish on it’s own didn’t really make the glitter shine so with the added topcoat it really looks it’s best. This is a very dark purple with purple micro glitter shimmer. It has a nice thin formula which applied easily. This polish looks amazing in the bottle and the only problem with it is that the glitter gets lost on the nail unless it hits the light. It’s still really pretty though and I am glad to add it to my collection. Here is another angle and a closer look
Now time for some nail art. Once I noticed that the glitters weren’t as obvious on the nail I also realized I didn’t want to cover too much of it up. I didn’t want it to look like just a black base. Let me show you what I did.
I started with the 3 coats of Wet n wild – Night prowl I hd on my nails. I then stamped the petal from my cuticles towards the tip using Mundo de Unas – Light gold and BP-L015. I then double stamped using Mundo de Unas – Holy. I topcoated and that was that. Let’s see that angle again.
What do you think? I really liked the stamping I just wasn’t sure if it distracted too much from the polish underneath, or even if it went together. Let me know what you think and what you think of Night Prowl.
