Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was extremely busy but I got a LOT done as well! I feel like I need another day of weekend to recover 😛 It’s also a short work week so yay!
Week 15 of #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio and I was not looking forward to this prompt. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Like I said, I wasn’t looking forward to this one. I had an idea, tried it twice and both were epic fails. Then I asked around and had another idea. Let me just say the fictional character looked like it had been hit on the head quite a few times. So it was time to either call it quits or go super duper easy. Seeing as there is a post you probably guessed which one I chose. Let me show you
Yup, I chose the super duper easy route. Batman to the rescue. I started with 2 coats of Dare to wear – Lemon drop on all my nails and waited for that to dry completely. I then applied the batman and ‘pow’ decals from LuckyStarStyle. On my index finger I used a thin nail art brush and Sinful Colors – Black on black to colour in using the zig zag around the ‘pow’ decal until the whole rest of the nail was black. I then added the polka dots with a dotting tool and lemon drop. On my ring and pinky I added the black polka dots using the same dotting tool and Sinful Colors – black on black. I topcoated and that was that. I have some swatches for you of
Dare to wear – Lemon drop
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a beautiful bright yellow creme with a surprisingly great formula. I was very surprised by how opaque this yellow was and it applied smoothly with no dragging or bald spots. Yellows are known for being troublesome but this one is great!
What do you think? I know it was a bit of an easy way out but I am A ok with that 😉 I actually liked this more than I thought I would.

Niiiiice! Where did you find that yellow! I could do with a nice opaque yellow in my life.
Do you remember my “US box of AWESOME’? This one was in there as well as the rest of the collection. I really need to use more of them.
