Have you had a good week so far? Mine has been super busy but that usually helps it go fast. It is also a ‘short week’ because tomorrow is a public holiday and I’m sure everyone took Friday off. I need to make a decision by the end of the week about doing the 31 Day challenge. Is anyone else doing it? I really want to because I really missed doing it last year but it is a lot of pressure and unless I am a bit ahead of schedule with the other stuff I am not sure if I will be able to manage. What do you think? Should I do it or nah?
I spotted a polish on my rack when I walked past it and I felt like I hadn’t seen it before. I actually don’t even know where or when I bought it from but it is beautiful and I knew I had to use it. Let me show you what I did and then I will show you the polish too.
I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – I’m the good witch on my pinky, ring and middle finger and 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – a little naughty on my index. Once it was all completely dry I used a Because I Shop – Straight liners squared 1.5mm vinyl on my middle finger and Straight liners squared 3mm on my ring finger. I then applied Morgan Taylor – a little naughty over that and removed the vinyl immediately. I topcoated and that was that.
This glittery polish is SO glittery that it made even my camera act weird. I thought I would like this more than I do now. When I had it on I really liked it and the glitter lines really popped but now that I am looking at it on the photo’s I am unsure if this worked or if it was a fail. What do you think? Morgan Taylor – I’m the good witch
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a burgundy base packed with rose gold, gold and a few holo glitters. It applied beautifully and was very opaque for a glitter bomb. It did have a slight textured finish but with the topcoat it was nice and smooth.

It’s hard to capture glitters true sparkle and beauty on camera. I really love this mani. I’d say Go For It on the 31DC, but I am not doing it this year. I am simply too busy, so I’d understand if you didn’t do it either.

If you want to do the 31DC madness, I’ll be cheering you on, but no way I’m going to try it myself (but you knew that already). I guess you will have to decide how far ahead you are at the end of August to see if you can manage. I’ll start looking for the box with the pom poms, just in case 😉
I love the colors, both separately and together. I’m thinking it might have looked a bit smoother if you had started with the cream and painted the glitter between the vinyls… then again, what do I know about vinyls? 😉
I think I am going to give it a shot. I was worried that I would be the only one but I guess it’s ok if I am too. I’m sure I won’t be. Shout if you change your mind and decide to join :P. I have pretty cool pom poms too.
You know, sometimes you say something that makes total sense. I am sure there was a reason why I did it this way around but now that I listen to you I can’t think of any good reason why I did :D. I should totally have done it your way!
