Hello lovelies,
See, now this week is just flying by! How has your week been so far?
This comparison has been a loooooooong time coming. It’s so overdue that I think the person who asked might’ve forgotten about it already 😉 It has been a few years now since Tip Top has announced they were closing down but they’ve also been hinting since then that they had some big announcement to make. We all were a little sad to see some of our favourite coloured Tip Tops disappear off the shelves and I know Pot-o-berries was a big favourite. Let’s see how it compares.
On my index and pinky I have 2 coats of Tip Top – Pot-o-berries with no topcoat and on my middle and ring fingers I have 2 coats of Hean – #437 with no topcoat. Both of them are berry shades but pot-o-berries is more red toned and #437 is more pink toned. So it’s pretty clear that they are not the same in colour and you definitely should have both in your collection (I really hope whatever happens to Tip Top, this polish will still be around). Are they both worth it? Are they equal quality? I think the answer is yes. They both have great formula and opacity. Both applied beautifully. Both have a shiny beautiful finish. I definitely recommend both of these polishes. I don’t know if Pot-o-berries is still available in in some stores and I don’t know if it will be returning when they make their big announcement but if you do see it, I highly recommend you grab a bottle.
Do you have either of these? Which one do you prefer? I definitely don’t have a preference as they are both super gorgeous and different enough to both deserve a spot on your shelf.
Thanks for reading,
Siobhan
Oh I like #437! Just a winter berry colour!

It’s such a beautiful colour. Even though they aren’t close in colour I am definitely a fan of #437.

Woman, you really need to stop reading my thoughts… I’ve just done a manicure using a raspberry polish!
Both polishes look pretty but as neither brand is available over here I’m not even going to think about which one I prefer 😉

Wahahahahaha….Thank goodness for that.
