It’s FINALLY Friday! I don’t know why this week has felt like the longest week ever! It wasn’t a particularly bad week but it has been a very busy week. I am really excited about getting some rest this weekend. I must say though, in the last week I have gotten some of the most incredible nail mail and I am SO excited to just do more and more and more nails. Anyone have some spare time for me? How about you? It’s Friday Triad time with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was Joyce’s turn to choose and she chose this post by Badgirlnails. I think I may have had this pinned for ages as well so I am REALLy excited to do this.
This month I went more with the ‘inspired by’ than the ‘recreation’ but really I just changed up some colours. Let me show you what I did.
On my pinky I used 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Shock therapy. On my ring finger I used 1 coat of China Glaze – Silver of sorts and then I sponged another coat on. On my middle finger I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely. Once it was dry I used Heartfull vinyls from Because I Shop and then sponged a gradient using Morgan Taylor – Shock therapy and China Glaze – Concrete catwalk. On my index I uses 2 coats of China Glaze – Concrete catwalk. I topcoated my ring finger with my usual Seche but then used matte topcoat on all the rest.
What do you think? I really like the colours together but I am not sure if it ties in well with the original. I am also a bit iffy about the matte. I like the look of matte but not sure if it works here. Let me know what you think and what you would change. Don’t forget to check out Joyce and Juanita to see how they absolutely rocked this!
