Hello lovelies,
You guys, the renovations are almost done! It might even just be a few hours from done. I am SO happy. I am thrilled to be getting back to my normal routine and schedule. The dogs will be settled and we can all get used to the changes. I am thrilled. How has your week been? I hope it’s been good. Also, end of May? How even?
These 2 polishes have been standing next to each on my shelf and every time I see them I had all the ideas of how to use them together. Well, today is the day. Let me show you what I did and then and I’ll show you the polishes.
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – Fresh prince-ss on my index and middle and left them to dry. I then Used 2 coats of China Glaze – Fresh prince-ss on my pinky and 2 coats of China Glaze – Dope taupe on my ring finger. I then did a sponged gradient on my index and middle finger using the same colours. Once the gradient was dry I stamped over it using BP-L015 and Mundo de Unas – Bones. I added some topcoat and then stamped on the same fingers using the flower on BP-L015 and Mundo de Unas – Bronze. I double stamped the flowers using Mundo de Unas – Black and then finally topcaoted everything. That’s that.
I really like how this came out even though my skin looks ridiculous on the photos. I just love these colours together. Let me show you the polishes.
China Glaze – Fresh prince-ss
This is 2 coats with no topcoat This is a very soft pink creme. I was surprised by the opacity. The first coat was a little sheer but the second coat turned out quite nice. I am torn about wether it needs another coat so I think it depends on the situation. Really nice polish with a nice formula.
China Glaze – Dope taupe.
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. I am obsessed with this shade and this polish is just a dream to work with. Great formula and super opaque. This is almost a one coater. Love this one!
What do you think? Do you also think they work so well together? I am excited to use Dope Taupe with a bright turquoise or pink too. Do you have any of these polishes? Which one is your favourite?

These two look great together! I don’t have either of them (but China Glaze and my nails aren’t the best of friends 😉 ) but I’m sure I could find something close in my stash once I’ve finished doing nothing :p
You know, I knew it would be too good to be true. Hopefully THIS week coming will be the last. I told the husband after this we need to stop because I am losing my mind!! 😛
You know, I have a mini bottle of OPI – Don’t pretzel my buttons and I remember being as in love with it as Dope taupe. If you have that it might be pretty close. I will do a comparison some time as well just to easy my own curiosity. Thank you so much x
