Did you have a good weekend? I really enjoyed the long weekend. It was relaxing and long enough to actually feel like a weekend. Now if only puppy Willow will let me sleep till at least sunrise.
I have another stamping plate to show you from Born Pretty Store. Most of my nail art supplies come from there and their range just seems to get bigger and bigger. Today I have BPL-62 to show you today and it’s an interesting one. Let me show you.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors on all my nail and left that to dry while I made some decals. I stamped the lip image and filled in the lips with Essence – Femme fatal. I then stamped the girl image. I filled in her hair using China Glaze – Hot flash, Her lips using Essence – Fame fatal and her skin using China Glaze – Note to selfie. I filled in the ‘OMG’ bubble using Color Club – Pure energy. I applied these decals to my middle and ring finger and topcoated. On my pinky and index I stamped using Lina Feeling Shapely 02 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. I topcoated those and Ta-daaaaa!
What do you think? I really loved this plate and was quite excited about using it. Initially I had a bit of hassle picking up the images but after trying scraping in a few different directions and a few different stampers I managed to get it working just fine. So basically, if you have that problem, just keep trying. My other issue was that the images were a bit bigger than I would’ve hoped. Some of them are too big to fit on my nails completely. Like the girl above, if I wanted her and the ‘OMG’ bubble I had to cut half of her off. But if it was just her she would fit. Other images are a bit bigger. The lips though. My absolute favourite image on the whole plate. This plate really has quite a few options and combinations. What do you think of the plate? What about what I did with it?

I’ve also been super keen on this plate. I am a little disappointed in the size of the images. It just makes it a bit harder to fit the whole image on a nail. But I do love it!
Hehe, I’m not sure if I should call it sneaky or smart to use this as a book inspired manicure… but either way I love what you did with the plate 🙂

Such a fun plate. I really wish the images were a bit smaller but it’s still usable.
