Born Pretty Store Stamping guides review

Hello lovelies,

Have you had a good week so far? I really don’t even know where the first half of this week went.  It’s probably a good thing :P.

I have more nail art goodies to show you from Born Pretty Store.  This time it is a stamping guide.  I was very excited to give this a try and when guide 002 landed in my hands…..I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it.  I gave it some thought and finally came up with an idea.  Then another idea.  So I have 2 fun designs to show you today.

I started with 2 coats of China Gaze – Pixilated on all my nails.  Once that was dry I stamped on my ring finger using Mundo de Unas – Black and the lace image on BP-L020.  I then used the long triangle guide and the same image to stamp on the rest of my nails.  I topcoated and that was that.

Of course once I started the ideas just kept coming so I did something else too.

Here I started with 2 coats of Color Club – Silver lake on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  I then used the negative space image on Lina make your mark 3 and Mundo de Unas – Dark grey combined with the circle guide to stamp the big dark grey dots and randomly placed them on my nails.  I then used the stripe image on BP-L020 and Mundo de Unas – Barbie with the circle guide again and then double stamped the circle stripes on the dark grey circles. I really need to master the double stamping though so I can line them up properly.  I topcoated and voila!

What do you think?  Do you have any stamping guides? Do you want to try them?  I have been wanting guides for the longest time but the minute I had one I was stumped with what to do.  One inspiration hit though I couldn’t stop thinking of what else I could do.  The stamp guides work beautifully and the images are really nice and fun too.  My only real gripe is that I wish the images were a bit smaller or at least the option of smaller versions.  Big images have a place but I think smaller ones are needed.  I used the circle guide here and it is one of the smallest ones on my guide.  It was still pretty big and if my nails were shorter I am not sure if it would’ve fit.  So an option for smaller circles would be great.  Otherwise, 5 stars for these guides from me.
