Hello lovelies,
It’s July, It’s half way to the weekend and it’s a beautiful week. How is your week going? I am still incredibly busy. Even though it is tough to keep up it’s not all bad. I am lowly getting back to my normal routine so once I have caught up it will be fabulous!
I will admit, because I am in catch up mode I have been really bad with doing swatches of polishes I am using. I will however be doing swatches really soon so if you are wanting to see these polishes, they will be swatched. Anyway, let me show you what I did today.
On my ring finger I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white. While that was drying I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Fame on my pinky, middle and index nails. I then used MoYou London Frenchy 09 plate and Mundo de Unas – Light gold, Mundo de Unas – Spring green and Mundo de Unas – Tutti. I used a straight French tip stamp image and alternated the colours in a criss cross pattern. I then topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? Does it work? Using the stamping to make the fishtail pattern sure is so much easier and faster. I wish I had paid more attention to spacing of the lines but I don’t think it is too bad. I really like the very sparkly and shiny Fame combined with the colours and pattern of the fishtail. I had so much fun doing this. I will definitely be doing this again.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
This looks pretty and wow, you are smart!! Why didn’t I think of using a stamping plate for the strips?! I started a version of a fishtail with tape and I got so fed up with it I removed everything… so I’m off to search for a plate that I can use for this 🙂

Right!?!?! I love the fishtail concept but man alive it takes FOREVER to do it the ‘normal’ way and it can get really messy. This is such an easy way to stamp lines 😛 MoYou frenchy 09 us such a winner
