Happy Friday! This has been the longest week. I feel so tired but it’s ok because it was a full and fun busy week. Hopefully at some point I can get around to replying to comments and emails. Soon. Soon Soon. How has your week been? Did you have a good one? What about weekend plans?
We all know that unicorns are my spirit animal right? That most of the time I am a unicorn right? Of course you do. So obviously I am all over it when unicorn stamping plates are around. I snatched up this unicorn plate from Bundle Monster. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of ILNP – That other girl and left that to dry completely. While that was drying I started making the decals on my stampers. I stamped all the images using BM-XL214 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I coloured in the images on my index, middle and pinky first. I used China Glaze – Casual friday (yellow), China Glaze – Chalk me up! (blue), China Glaze – Spring Jungle (green) and China Glaze – Are you orchid-ing me (Pink) to randomly colour in different parts of each unicorn head. I also used the same colours in random order in the mane of the unicorn on my ring finger. I used China Glaze – GR8 to colour in the little stars. all the horns (the itty bitty ones and the big one) as well as the unicorn on my ring finger. I then stamped these decals on to my nails, topcoated and voila!

ILNP – That other girl
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a rose / pinky gold with holo glitter and holo flakes with metallic. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The colour is so beautiful and delicate but the holo is pretty slap in the face good. The formula is nice and thin but not runny and applies beautifully. You can see how holo this is both on my nails and in the bottle. It’s a scattered holo because of the additional holo flakes and glitter. I used 2 coats here because I knew I was going to cover a lot of it up with the unicorns but you could easily do 3 coats in this to intensify the colour and probably the holo. I love all the polishes I got from ILNP but this so far is one of my favourite favourites.

That base is SO pretty! Combined with the colorful unicorns it’s a bit too much for me though. If I were to do a manicure like this, I would do the elusive, yet strangely attractive b&w unicorns 😉
Oh, my nieces, who are visiting here at the moment, tell me I’m boring and they love the multi-colored uni’s. I guess that puts me in my place… -_-
I’ll say it again, the niece approval is EVERYTHING to me :P. I think you should just show them everything and get their yay or nay and it will totally boost my ego 😛
I am getting ore and more excited about these b&w unicorns. If you don’t do them soon I think I might have to 😀
