52 week nail art challenge – Week 38: Green

Hey hey guys,

What a fabulous weekend.  I love the cooler weather and I got to have some fun while still ticking off a bunch of stuff on my to-do list.  How was your weekend? Here’s hoping the week ahead is a little more gentle on me than last week 😉

Here we are heading into week 38 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. The weeks seem to be flying past. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except  this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week.  Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.

The prompt this week is green and I was overwhelmed by ideas.  There were quite a few different things I wanted to do, especially with all the different shades of green or finishes.  In the end I settled on some hot and stamping.  Just a few of my favourite things. Let me show you

I started with 2 coats ILNP – Bermuda Breeze on all my nails and let that dry completely.  Once it was dry I stamped on my ring and middle finger.  I used Lina – Feeling shapely 05 and Mundo de Unas – Spring green, Mundo de Unas – Green and Mundo de Unas – Military green.  I topcoated and enjoyed the simple but sparkly look.

The green stamping gradient was a little more obvious in real life but I really like the stamping paired with the very holo green.  I also really like the image that I stamped.  But let’s be honest, I have yet to see an image or a plate from Lina that I didn’t love.  What do you think?
